Give Any Pal Passive Skills — Free, No Breeding
Rolling the right passive skills through breeding takes hours and a lot of luck. With PalTweak you can add, remove and swap a Pal's passives directly in your browser — and it's free.
Choose a Pal's passives directly — for free
PalTweak lets you set exactly which passive skills a Pal has, at no cost — editing passives is part of the free tier. Add the passives you want, drop the ones you don't, and keep up to four per Pal.
No breeding chains, no re-rolling, and nothing to install.
How to give a Pal passive skills, step by step
- Close Palworld (or stop your dedicated server) and back up your Level.sav
- Open PalTweak and upload your Level.sav
- Pick the player whose Pals you want, then select a Pal
- Open passive skills, then add, remove or swap up to 4 — this is free
- Download the edited Level.sav and copy it back into your save folder
- Launch the game — your Pal now has those passives
Why edit passives instead of breeding for them
Passing down a specific set of passives through breeding means chaining the right parents and re-rolling for hours, with no guarantee. Editing the save sets the passives you want in seconds — ideal for rescuing a Pal that rolled badly or finishing a build you already planned.
What else is free — and what's Pro
Alongside passives, setting a Pal's level, adding or cloning Pals, healing and feeding your Pals, and marking a Pal as Boss/Alpha are also free. IVs, souls, star rank, active moves, species and the full player editor are part of the one-time €4.99 Pro upgrade — no subscription.
Safe for your single-player world
Edit passives on your own single-player, co-op or dedicated-server save with the game closed and a backup kept. PalTweak never overwrites your original file. Don't push edited saves onto servers you don't control, where admins may treat edits as cheating.
Frequently asked questions
Is editing passive skills really free?+
Yes. Adding, removing and swapping a Pal's passive skills is part of PalTweak's free tier, together with setting a Pal's level and adding or cloning Pals.
How many passive skills can a Pal have?+
Up to four. PalTweak lets you fill or change all four slots with any valid passive.
Do I need to breed for passives?+
No. That's the point — instead of chaining breeds and re-rolling, you pick the passives you want directly in the editor.
Which passives can I add?+
Any passive the game recognizes. PalTweak validates the id against the game's data, so an edited save loads normally.
Is it safe, and will I get banned?+
It's safe for your own single-player or co-op world with the game closed and a backup kept. Don't take edited saves onto servers you don't control.
