Why you upload the whole folder
Your technology points and unlocked recipes live in your player file, not in the main world save, so PalTweak needs it. Uploading the folder is safe by design: no archive is ever built or extracted, and your files are only held in a temporary session — never stored or shared.
Technology editing is a Pro feature
The technology editor is part of the one-time €4.99 Pro upgrade — no subscription. Setting a Pal's level, adding or cloning Pals, healing and feeding, passives and the Boss/Alpha flag stay free.
Safe for your world
Edit your own single-player, co-op or dedicated-server save with the game closed and a backup kept. PalTweak never overwrites your original file. Don't push edited saves onto servers you don't control, where admins may treat edits as cheating.
